Following the meeting of the CBC planning committee on Monday night (21st Jan) the Club opening hours have been extended until 1.30 am on Friday and Saturday evenings. This means the Club can now keep the bar open until 1.00 am with 30min drinking up time when we want to, ie if there is a function etc.

These opening hours are for a trial period of 9 months when the planning committee will meet again to determine if the changes have had any detrimental effects on the neighborhood and if any adjustment is required.

The planning application was put forward on the Clubs behalf by Vice Chairman Trevor Garson. Trevor and Chairman Tony Smith both  addressed the planning committee at the meeting.

This is clearly very good news for the Club but it is vital that all members act responsibly and keep disturbance to our neighbours to a minimum to avoid any complaints.
