Job Description for: JUNIOR TEAM REPRESENTATIVE

TO DO THIS JOB WELL YOU MUST:

¨       Be enthusiastic about the game of Rugby Union.

¨       Be interested in people, including children.

¨       Have good organisation skills (including attention to detail)

¨       Have good communications skills.

¨       Be able to lead and supervise others, always setting a good personal example.

¨       Be able to delegate tasks.

¨       Be able to react to opportunities and make smart decisions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

¨       Representing the views of the Junior Teams coaches, administrators and players on the Full Committee.

¨       Representing the views of the Junior Teams coaches, administrators and players on the Youth  Committee.

¨       Reporting back committee decisions to Junior Teams coaches,  administrators and players.

¨       Communicating with all Junior Team Head Coaches/Managers on a regular basis.

¨       Liasing with Junior Team Fixture Secretary.

¨       Mentoring and guiding Junior Team administrators.

¨       Where needed, initiating, guiding and overseeing Junior Team activities.

¨       Liasing with other Youth section and Club Officers.

¨       Liasing with members.

¨       Following and enforcing the clubs rules on Youth Team Photography.

¨       Identification and recruitment of administrators, coaches and helpers (volunteers) for the Youth Rugby Section. 

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

¨       CRFC Club Management Committee and General Committee

¨   Youth Section Management Committee and General Meetings.
